About Us

Sunshine Theatre seeks to provide a way for people in the Coalinga community to express themselves through the art of singing, dancing, and acting. We work to create diverse artists—of all ages—that give back to their community through the joy of theatre while simultaneously working to provide the actors with an unforgettable experience, where students, who may not otherwise have an opportunity, can express themselves through the embodiment of becoming somebody else, forging friendships with castmates, and being a light even after the show has ended. This is a place for developing passion, discipline, and learning to work on a team. It’s also a place for audiences to come and be immersed in quality family-friendly storytelling in both classical and contemporary works for all ages.
